Ever since I have always stayed out of my home place due to my education and work so cooking and learning to cook was compulsory for me. Fortunately I was very much associated with the household work and chores at home so cooking was not a tough task for me and in fact I have developed it as a hobby.
I once remember during the colleges days I was invited by a friend of a friend to a birthday party, so he was asked to prepare pasta as part of the meal, accidentally something went wrong with the process of preparation, Since I was helping him in chopping cutting etc, I told him let me just have a look on the pasta, to my surprise the whole pasta was at a mess, therefore since we were already preparing and also not to disappoint the guest and the host we came out with a Plan B heheheh. so the plan was let the pasta be what it is we just need to add more thing to it make it different although the pasta was no longer a pasta it did not really look as a pasta hhahahaha. In the process of Plan B we added chopped french beans, nuts and the ketchup. Well the ketchup was out of the box idea I told to myself let me just try adding it , therefore we added accordingly and at one point of time I accidentally added extra so the whole thing turned to be a bit reddish you know the color of a tomato hhahahah, so to dilute that color, I added water and the cornflour so as to make it more slimy then a bit of salt for the taste and few chopped Coriander leaves for presentation.. Finally the pasta was ready I would say the Modified PASTA. Eventually the time for all of us in the Bday party to eat has come, I was quite anxious and afraid what if the pasta tasted bad, Coz i did not taste it so I kept quite looking at the guests taking the plates forks and spoons ready to go for the pasta and in the due course of eating and chatting a friend of mine asked how did you do this pointing the spoon with the pasta on it towards me. At the moment deep inside me there was a huge fear hahahahha you know how you feel when you see a thunder cloud sky turning dark that was the scenario. And folks to my surprise that friend said,buddy it tasted really good and everybody complimented for that, all of a sudden the dark sky laden with thunder clouds in me moved away I could feel sunlight and the clear blue sky. what a huge sigh of relief. no sooner I realized that I haven't tasted it yet so i grab the plates and forks and tasted the MODIFIED PASTA I was shock the whole thing tasted really good. I guess the Ketchup and the Vegs had done the work. Well at the end of the day I said to myself what a Bday and the Pasta.
