Ignorance and Disability

Sports, Public speaking, Musical talent, artistic , building, management etc, and many more?? You might wonder why at the outset all these interesting things, well they are the gifts, which we may or may not realize that we have. It is certainly very sure that each human being possesses some or the other talents and abilities.

During a training session we were asked to watch a video of a auto driver and a passenger, the story is that the auto driver had to drop the commuting passenger to his destination, the auto driver did drop the passenger to his destination. The passenger gave the auto fare and it so happened he did not have the change, at first looking at the driver he seems to be healthy and outspoken, the driver said I don't have the change can you give me the change, the passenger said I don't have you please go and get the change said the commuter, the driver had no option but to look for change, as we were watching the video, the driver came out slowly out of the cabin  and holding the crutch on his left hand, the driver is lame he does not have a leg. 

We were asked what did you see in the video, and how do you define disability, the question kept lingering in the minds of everybody and there was one or two answer conventional answer that the questioner must have assumed, but no sooner he split the beans out and defined that our ignorance of our own ability is Disability, the statement did had a very huge impact and correlating with  the movie clip the driver had lost his one leg but yet that was not a hindrance for him he continued living  on with what he has. 

The entire scenario made to a realization that Disable are not really disable they are special people with special abilities, this too reminded me of a Person on a wheel chair performing during a wedding ceremony and did sang superbly, 

The point to really ponder upon is that we are gifted with talents special abilities we really need to find out in ourselves , introspection is required and to not ignore of what we really have else that would show that we are disable.
